Please be aware of the change in availability to the Maldives. In previous times and after the Tsunami, last minute bookings were a common place. In the present climate, most resorts are achieving 92%-94% occupancy. It is very difficult to travel last minute. There are several new resorts opening this year all marketed and owned by existing well known brands. It is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment. There are many alternative destinations - Mauritius - Kerala to name a few but everyone deserves to explore tranquillity of these islands.
